Mountain Fire

While working for one of our clients rebuilding from the Woolsey fire, my architect informed me that there was a fire in Ventura County and the winds were strong. Living and growing up in the area, this was nothing new to me but I packed up from the job site and contacted my family as our home was downwind from the fires. When I arrived home the sky was filled with smoke and the strong winds were causing the fire to rapidly expand towards our home. We packed our belongings and limbed trees, gathered fallen leaves, hosed down the property, and prepared for the worst.
